Crash du Super Puma: des passants sont intervenus pour extraire les pilotes, l'assistant est hors de danger

Les forces aériennes ont donné une nouvelle conférence de presse jeudi matin à Berne, suite au crash d'un Super Puma, mercredi, au col du Gothard, qui a fait deux morts. On y apprend notamment que des témoins et les membres de la délégation de l'OSCE sont intervenus rapidement pour extraire les deux pilotes de milice et l'assistant de vol de la carcasse avant qu'elle ne prenne feu. Ce dernier, blessé et choqué, est hors de danger.

Les deux pilotes sont morts dans le crash de leur appareil au Gothard.

Les forces aériennes donnent ce jeudi une conférence de presse à Berne pour communiquer sur le crash du Super Puma, ce mercredi, au col du Gothard, qui a fait deux morts et un blessé. L'assistant de vol, choqué, est toujours hospitalisé, mais hors de danger.

L'un des deux pilotes qui a perdu la vie mercredi était également conseiller communal de la ville zurichoise d'Ilnau-Effretikon, indique la commune sur son site internet. Les deux militaires étaient des hommes de milice.

Les passants et les membres de la délégation de l'OCDE ont, au péril de leur vie, extrait les deux pilotes et l'assistant de vol de la carcasse du Super Puma avant qu'elle ne soit totalement ravagée par les flammes.

Le colonel EMG Pierre de Goumoëns, précise que le juge d'instruction militaire n'a pas identifié de cause technique à cet accident. Les vols de Super Puma ont donc repris, ce jeudi, sans restriction.

Le lieutenant-colonel Lukas Rechtsteiner, chef de vol de la flotte Super Puma/Cougar, rappelle que l'atterrissage en montagne fait partie de la formation de base de tous les pilotes. Ils sont tous contrôlés chaque année sur leurs aptitudes. Il confirme que l'hélicoptère a bien heurté un câble électrique, mais ce pourrait ne pas être la seule cause de l'accident.

Le pilote de la patrouille suisse qui s'était crashé aux Pays-Bas est à nouveau en service et il a repris ses vols sur Tiger F5. Quant au site du crash du F/A-18 près du col du Susten, il a été totalement nettoyé.
