«La journée, au travail! Le soir, sur les places!» Le premier ministre turc, Binali Yildirim, continuait hier d’appeler ses concitoyens à descendre dans les rues, drapeaux rouge et blanc à la main, pour «une veille démocratique». En conférence de presse, après un Conseil des ministres, le chef du gouvernement a livré le dernier bilan de la tentative de putsch qui a tenu la Turquie en éveil dans la nuit du 15 au 16 juillet: 208 personnes sont mortes (sans compter les putschistes), dont 145 civils, auxquels s’ajoutent 1491 blessés. Binali Yildirim a dit n’avoir aucun doute sur l’identité des «terroristes» derrière ce coup de force, attribué aux fidèles de l’imam Fethullah Gülen. «Nous livrerons les documents le moment venu. Pour l’heure, nous sommes occupés à nettoyer le terrain», a déclaré le premier ministre.
