Deux "zones piétonnes" ont été créées! "Formidable", dirait M. Ogi! A Crans: 30 km/h – à Montana: 20 km/h pourquoi cette différence? Ne cherchez pas de toute façon quasiment personne respecte ces vitesses prescrites. Les usagers de la route ont vite compris que personne n'essaie de faire appliquer ces prescriptions.
Les autorités croyant avoir fait leur travail en plaçant des panneaux, mais en ne chargeant personne de les faire respecter se sont arrêtées là! 50 voire 60 km/h en zone 20 ou 30! Et à 100 km/h si pas plus entre Montana et Crans en passant devant le poste de police pour des voitures genre "Ferrari" = monnaie courante. Et si un piéton essaie de faire signe de ralentir: bras d'honneur ou mime de se faire "foncer dessus" sont les résultats. Par temps sec c'est encore supportable, mais s'il pleut, ou que de la neige fondante est sur les routes: les piétons sont giclés jusqu'au chapeau par ces bolides. Et comme c'est de l'eau pleine de plomb ils ne leur restent plus qu'à apporter leurs vêtements au chimique! C'est ça rendre la marche plus agréable dans nos stations? Eh oui j'oublie que si l'on "chicane" trop les touristes en voiture, ils menacent d'aller voir ailleurs.
Les touristes-piétons seraient donc négligeables? Ne pourrait-on pas imaginer des agents de police présents dans les stations et sans obligatoirement poser de PV calmer les chauffards. On sait que la vue du gendarme, surtout s'il fait un geste, fait lever le pied! Par temps normal, on ne voit pas d'agents dans les rues, et si par hasard il y en a un ou deux ils ignorent les excès de vitesse qui se passent sous leurs yeux (on n'est pas des radars, m'a dit l'un deux!) Et si vous en croyez les panneaux qui indiquent que les piétons sont prioritaires venez vous y promener et vous constaterez que beaucoup donnent un coup d'accélérateur pour vous passer sous le nez plutôt que de vous laisser passer!
Et avec ça nos édiles pensent avoir fait "quelque chose"!

Sur la route du centre scolaire, la police a placé deux panneaux indiquant à quelle vitesse les véhicules circulent pensant que cela calmerait les fonceurs! Que nenni, la mesure serait efficace seulement si un vrai radar flashait les "excités" qui n'auraient pas levé le pied après ces panneaux. Seules les amendes ou même les retraits de permis peuvent amener ces gens à la raison. Cela arrivera peut-être, mais en morte-saison car les politiques n'osent pas toucher aux "clients"!
Je ne vous parle pas de la route des Arolles (limitée à 30 km/h) sans trottoir sur la commune de Montana, zone dans laquelle marchent beaucoup d'enfants et de personnes âgées et qui est marquée par des interdictions de stationner jamais sanctionnées!
Tous ces panneaux de limitation de vitesse, de zone piéton, de stationnement interdit qui ont dû coûter "bonbon" sont bafoués à longueur de journée, alors ne serait-il pas moins hypocrite de les enlever et de laisser faire le "bordel" ça ne changerait pas grand-chose à la situation présente et les piétons sauraient qu'ils peuvent marcher, mais à leurs risques et périls!

Un petit vieux qui aime marcher, mais qui est souvent écœuré par le comportement "toléré" des usagers de la route!
