Le 31 juillet dernier, je me suis trouvé dans une situation où il fallait une ambulance pour tansporter ma femme de Verbier à l'hôpital de Martigny pour stopper un violent saignement du nez pour lequel le médecin de garde ne pouvait rien faire.
C'est assez long de vous expliquer le déroulement de ce que j'ai dû faire pour transporter ma femme de Verbier à l'hôpital de Martigny, ensuite de Verbier à l'hôpital de Sion et enfin de Verbier à l'hôpital de l'Enfance à Lausanne, où mon médecin traitant avait enfin trouvé un spécialiste ORL pour faire le nécessaire. Tout ce va-et-vient, y compris les longues attentes aux urgences, a duré environ quarante-huit heures fatigantes et angoissantes, alors que je suis âgé de 83 ans; à ajouter également que ces multiples consultations forcées poussent à l'augmentation des indemnités des caisses-maladie et donc à la hausse des primes d'assurance.
J'ai d'abord écrit notamment au président de la commune de Bagnes.
Le 22 septembre 2011, je reçois une réponse de la commune de Bagnes m'informant que: «le Conseil communal a pris note avec intérêt des différentes remarques et propositions formulées (dans ma lettre), que nous pourrons le cas échéant, faire suivre dans les services communaux pour information». Une réponse peu réjouissante et trop vague pour me permettre d'espérer qu'une décision positive sera prise pour installer une ambulance à Verbier.
A Verbier, une personne saisie subitement d'une crise cardiaque, ou qui se trouve dans une autre situation grave, peut mourir avant d'être efficacement secourue. Je vous laisse deviner la suite de ce manque de secours. Verbier
