Zervettaz constitue un quartier des plus sensibles de la Cité du soleil. Il se situe entre deux routes extrêmement passantes: la route du Rawyl (route de Montana) et la rue des Ecoles. Au vu de la signalisation mise en place par la commune, notamment à la ruelle Notre-Dame-des-Marais (entre bibliothèque et le plus grand centre scolaire de la ville), ce fut une vague d’interrogations dans notre quartier.
Elle donna lieu à une pétition signée par une centaine de personnes que je remercie encore au... passage. Pétition et lettre furent envoyées à la commune en date du 28 février 2011. Deux autres lettres suivirent: le 8 avril 2011 et le 20 juin de la même année. Je ne m’étendrai pas ici sur les entrevues et autres visions locales.
Il en ressort que la commune ne semble pas spécialement motivée à faire avancer les choses et dit, en substance, qu’elle étudiera tout cela lors du prochain réexamen de la signalisation en ville de Sierre.
Au nom de tous les pétitionnaires, je ne baisserai pas les bras et j’aurai encore recours à un expert neutre, chargé de la signalisation auprès de l’Etat du Valais. Nous ne demandons pas l’impossible. Au minimum un sens unique à la ruelle Notre-Dame-des-Marais. En attendant, de l’avis de tous – riverains comme hôtes de passage – la sortie sur la route de Montana est qualifiée comme étant «à haut risque». La balle est donc bien dans le camp des autorités communales.
Puissent-elles ne pas «botter en touche».
