Ces deux initiatives arrivent au mauvais moment. Les pays émergeant sur le marché de l’offre sont très agressifs au niveau des coûts de production et de la qualité des produits. Il n’y a plus de frontière économique. La création d’emplois n’est pas extensible à l’infini. Il faut donc tout faire pour maintenir ce que nous avons. Ne pas prendre des mesures contre l’emploi et éviter des décisions qui diminueraient la compétitivité de nos entreprises: PME et PMI, cellules de base de la société, du confort et de la paix sociale. La réussite de nos entreprises est dans l’intérêt du pays.
L’initiative des six semaines de vacances est dangereuse. Elle ne tient pas compte de l’évolution des nouveaux marchés qui nous font une concurrence acharnée: bas salaire, absence de couverture sociale, peu de congés et de vacances. Les pays dont les économies gagnent des parts de marché et créent des places de travail sont les pays où les gens travaillent le plus, et là le chômage est le plus bas. L’allongement des vacances ne permet pas de créer des emplois, ce n’est pas en ramant moins qu’on avance plus vite. La morosité et le déclin de l’économie en Europe ne suscitent pas l’enthousiasme des investisseurs. Il faut donc prendre les bonnes décisions. Les acteurs économiques doivent se rendre compte que les temps sont difficiles et incertains et qu’il ne faut pas modifier les règles du jeu. Les six semaines de vacances pourraient créer des emplois… dans les autres pays.
Quant à l’initiative contre les résidences secondaires, elle est excessive et mettrait en danger de nombreuses entreprises et places de travail. Il faut donc la refuser.
Il est donc raisonnable de suivre les recommandations du Conseil fédéral et de voter non à ces deux initiatives.
