J'ai assisté à toutes les séances d'information sur le Parc naturel régional du val d'Hérens et je suis surprise de la tournure que prennent les débats.
Les présidents des Agettes, de Vex, d'Hérémence, d'Evolène, de Saint-Martin, de Mont-Noble et de Grône se sont tous engagés pour créer ce Parc naturel régional (PNR). Pourquoi? Pour leur gloire personnelle? Par électoralisme? Pour s'enrichir? Ou bien parce qu'ils ont le souci de proposer un mieux pour notre région? L'espoir de donner une impulsion à l'économie du val d'Hérens? La conviction que, mieux connu, ce coin de paradis attirera plus d'habitants, de touristes et offrira plus de postes de travail?
Quel est donc le rôle de ces élus? Doivent-ils se limiter à gérer l'acquis en espérant que ça dure? Se contenter de regarder diminuer la population résidente? Ne pas réagir quand la seule solution de développement est la multiplication des volets clos?
Le PNR est un grand projet. Il appartient à des hommes capables de vision et de générosité.
Les sociétés de développement d'abord, relayées par les conseils municipaux et les présidents ensuite, ont décidé de parier sur l'avenir autrement qu'en jouant au Tribolo ou à la Loterie à numéros. Ils pensent que le PNR offrira plus d'occasions pour vivre du val d'Hérens, dans le val d'Hérens.
Et voilà que certains veulent rater cette chance! Accrochés à leurs habitudes, défendant bec et ongles leurs intérêts personnels et le statu quo, s'attaquant à la forme (hors contexte, tout peut blesser) plutôt qu'au fond, ils affichent une absence d'optimisme et d'imagination et un manque d'audace impressionnants.
